"I am the Light of the World; he who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
Why Play-Based Outdoor Learning?
Playing outdoors is a key way to promote physical health, independence, and connection to our Creator. As an educator, it is my passion to ensure that we provide the most enriching program for our young students. Each day our young learners come to school excited to "play" with their friends. What they don't know is that each of these play opportunities are providing platforms to integrate academics, social-emotional skills, and develop a LOVE of learning!
Our program has always held outdoor play as a key value. By promoting physical health, independence, and connection to our Creator we see the students experience joy and foster social exchanges in God's beautiful world. It is more important than ever that this current generation of students develop a solid foundation in the joy of knowing our Lord.
